Marisa Downey
Marisa Downey is an Atlanta native. She completed her masters in Exercise Science, is ACE certified in PT and is a 200hr registered Yoga teacher. She has been doing 1:1 and small group sessions through Pinnacle since 2013! In 2017, Marisa became a licensed massage therapist (LMT), in 2018 became a fascial stretch therapist (FST) and certified TPI instructor, and in 2022 finished a nationally recognized program in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) with a specialty in orthopedic rehabilitation. Marisa’s combination of manual therapy with functional movements has helped countless patients pre and post ortho surgeries get back to the activities they enjoy!
Sangeeta Lazarus
Sangeeta Lazarus brings 11 years of personal training experience. She is NASM certified and TRX Certified. She’s had the privilege of working with a broad range of clients, tailoring her approach to fit their unique fitness needs and aspirations. Her training style offers a balanced mix of traditional weight training, TRX, and Yoga, aiming for a holistic workout experience.
Having grown up in the foothills of the Himalayas and successfully summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, she offers expertise in both hiking and high-altitude training. Whether you’re a fitness novice or a seasoned athlete looking to reach new milestones, she’s here to offer specialized programs that will help you achieve your objectives. Peyton Attridge
Peyton Attridge was born and raised here in Atlanta, GA. He went to high school at Pace Academy where he played sports and stayed somewhat active. However, once he got to college, at Elon University, he really discovered his passion for fitness. The gym became an avenue for himto make friends while also increasing his confidence and making him feel better overall. So, when he discovered he enjoyed taking classes on exercise science, Peyton decided to make his passion his career. He has been an ACE certified trainer for over a year now and has his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Elon. Now he is really excited to continue his career as a trainer, help people reach their fitness goals, and help educate people on the importance of exercise.
Kristen Waters
Kristen Waters is the Manager of Pinnacle Fitness. Originally from Middle Georgia, she has been with the team since the fall of 2018. Kristen and her husband Landon live in Old Fourth Ward. Gabe Wilner is a fitness professional with a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Kennesaw State University. He also earned his Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Exercise Science from the University of Georgia. Throughout his studies, he’s held training, rehabilitation, and clinical research positions to assist a wide range of individuals from athletes to aging adults.
Laura Bodner

Laura’s degree in psychology and sociology was at Georgia State University. She began working in a mental health facility in Miami, FL helping individuals who struggled with severe psychiatric and addiction diagnoses.
