Jamie Bodner, Owner
After 9/11, Jamie decided to follow his dream to fruition. Studying with the renowned Dr. Jack Barnathan, owner and founder of NYStrength, a worldwide leader in health, fitness, strength, and conditioning, he became a certified Fitness trainer with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). He then moved to Miami and began his fitness career working for Bally’s initially as a trainer before then to assistant manager. He was later recruited by Results Fitness Studio for the head trainer position. During his time at Results Fitness, he also worked with the United Teaches of Dade County (UTD)creating and implementing dynamic fitness programs which resulted in a 90% increase in productivity, lower insurance premiums, and a raised level of moral.
Tramell Smith, Trainer
Tramell began training here at Pinnacle in May 2015. Tramell began his fitness training career as a gifted runner at the University of Illinois, winning seven Big 10 conference championships and being awarded All-American 3 times. *In 2007, Tramell became a professional runner for two years while working as an Assistant Coach for Track & Field at Texas Tech University. In addition to personal training on his own, it was at Texas Tech where he began diligently training athletes in the sprint, mid-distance, and strength track program. *Tramell earned certifications from the ACE and NASM as well as several specialty certifications and a NESTA Sports Nutrition certification. Tramell’s nickname here at Pinnacle is “The Science Book” because of his passion to learn more about nutrition and supplementation that can enhance one’s body. Tramell is a “no nonsense” trainer. He will push you to the best of your fitness ability and make you hit your maximum capabilities. You may recognize Tramell from the A&E show, Fit to Fat to Fit, where Tramell understands firsthand the struggle of gaining and losing weight.Tramell began training here at Pinnacle in May 2015. Brandon Butler
As a former college and professional athlete, Brandon understands the dedication and motivation it takes to achieve your greatest fitness potential. After playing collegiate football at Mississippi State University and Delta State University, Brandon went on to play two years of Professional Football in the Arena Football League (AFL) and National Indoor Football League (NIFL).
Brandon has always had a passion for sports, but his passion for fitness is undoubtedly correlated to the successful trainers and strength and conditioning coaches he has been fortunate to work with: the Tom Shaw (Professional Speed/Agility and Conditioning expert, founder of Sparq equipment and apparel) and NFL Quarterbacks Peyton & Eli Manning (both as a student and a trainer at the Manning Passing Academy).
Brandon specializes in sport specific training, speed and agility training, core strength training balance coordination, and weight reduction. He is also a youth athletic development trainer and has conducted several successful bootcamps and seminars.
Brandon’s unique approach to training allows individuals with little to zero fitness experience to quickly gain confidence in their pursuit. His dynamic workouts also allow those who are more advanced to achieve their desired results. As someone who wholeheartedly believes fitness will have positive effect on all areas of your life, he will ensure your time spent achieving your fitness will be exciting and productive. He is excellent at creating a fun, motivating atmosphere while constantly challenging your muscles with a combination of traditional and innovative exercises to ensure you the best results with every workout.
Crystal Dozier
Crystal began working at Pinnacle Fitness in 2015. She is a graduate from Albany State University and a graduate from Body Design University where the Mission Statement is ‘To be the Nations Leading School for Personal Trainers’. Crystal understands that wellness must include fitness, nutrition, and making healthy choices. She was a competitive Gymnast for over 10 years, a dance instructor, and has been a Personal Trainer for 6 plus years. Her unique ability to evaluate, encourage and motivate is essential in developing work out plans that meet expectations. Crystal’s attitude, skill level, and communication skills allow her to work with clients at every stage of their Fitness Journey. She is a team player that understands that effort plus attitude equal success. Born and raised here in Atlanta, she loves to add good music to her workouts to keep clients pumped and having fun.
Reese Fairbanks
Reese began training at Pinnacle Fitness in March of 2014. Reese is a 6-year Army veteran. He is a master fitness design expert along with being a compassionate and caring vegan trainer.
Marissa Downey
Marisa Downey is a native Atlantan who started working at Pinnacle Fitness 5 years ago as a personal trainer ACE certified in orthopedic/ joint health.
In 2013 she went on to become a 200 HR Yoga Alliance certified instructor, teaching one-on-one and small group Hatha yoga classes.
And most recently, she has finished a 500-hour course work program to become a licensed massage therapist!
Marisa’s approach to fitness is heavily influenced by the fluidity of yoga and includes functional bodyweight movements that promote healthy joints and full ranges of motion. She believes health extends beyond the gym and promotes a lifestyle of self-care which includes regular stretching and a healthy diet!
