We all go through phases — sometimes we’re obsessed with a lift, sometimes a movement just clicks. Here’s what the team is loving at the moment.
Jamie: Pull-ups are his current go-to. They’re a powerhouse move that strengthen the back, arms, and core, and they can be done almost anywhere. Effective, simple, and endlessly challenging
Tramell: Heavy walking lunges — his favorite and least favorite at the same time. They’re brutally effective, delivering one of the best “bang for your buck” combinations of strength, stability, and conditioning. Tough? Absolutely. Worth it? Every time.
Sangeeta: Planks. A slow-burn classic. They build deep core strength, improve stability, and sharpen mental focus — all in one deceptively simple hold.
Peyton: The barbell back squat. A staple lift that builds full-body strength, confidence, and power. Heavy, grounded, and always rewarding.
Gabe: Squats in every form. He says taking a squat to failure is “an art,” and most people don’t realize how capable they actually are until they push through that last rep. Squats are one of the most fundamental movements for strength and performance… and, as Gabe puts it, “no one raps about a little butt.” If you want to grow it, you squat it.
Will: Lately he’s been all about single-leg box jumps. He loves incorporating them into a CMJ-style circuit with lateral bounds, depth jumps, and different jump variations. These movements build power, speed, and change-of-direction ability — and they’re surprisingly easy to load and progress.
Marisa: Back squats will always hold the top spot for her. They make her feel powerful and grounded, and she loves how incorporating them into her routine builds both strength and confidence.
